Heading Home - Ending Homelessness Here Registry Week

November 1, 2016

Wentworth Community Housing, Platform Youth Services and Mission Australia (Penrith) are leading on this exciting project that aims to end homelessness in the Penrith, Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains LGAs. We are calling on all community members to help us!

During Registry Week, we require volunteers to accompany trained staff in conducting surveys early in the morning with people experiencing homelessness. From these surveys we will create a record of the people we discover, and make sure we understand what their housing and support needs are.

Registry Week will take place 1, 2, and 3 November 2016 from 4:30am until 9am. All volunteer participants will be required to attend a mandatory half day training course on either 28, 30 or 31 October 2016 in preparation for the week.
